CAMO Ed was founded in 2023 when two long-time educators and educational consultants came together with a common vision: the endurance of the teaching profession! With vast experience in the field of education, Cameron Bender and Monica Milinovich have a combined 50 years of teaching, administration, communication, professional development, coaching, and strategic planning experience. They are dedicated to the pursuance of continued learning in the field and sharing their wisdom with others. Their approach to professional development provides schools with a team of trainers and coaches to meet all the needs of K-12 schools. They currently work in schools across several states and offer both in-person and virtual assistance.
Cameron Bender is an educator, mentor, instructional coach, and professional development trainer who is passionate about helping teachers traverse the challenges of the modern classroom. Cameron has 21 years of teaching experience and 15 years of mentoring and instructional coaching experience. She is an Arizona Master Teacher Mentor, who studied mentoring through the Arizona K-12 Center. She is 1 of 5 Arizona Adjunct Teachers who helped to facilitate the training and transition of STEM professionals who wanted to make the leap from industry to education. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Communication with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and is a certified, highly qualified secondary teacher. She has presented and coached at schools across America and presented at regional and international conferences. She is committed to the growth and retention of quality educators.
Monica Milinovich is an educator, speaker, facilitator and trainer who specializes in teaching and learning that promotes best instructional practices for all. Monica has been working for over 25 years in education. She taught a variety of grade levels K-12, as well as college level courses. She has served in numerous leadership roles, including Professional Development Coordinator, Professional Learning Community Specialist, New Teacher/Mentor Coordinator, and an English Language Learning Coordinator. Monica has presented at seminars and workshops for K-12 districts, private and charter schools, nationwide as well as state, regional and international education conferences. Monica has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Master’s Degree in Multicultural Education, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She continues to share and support growth within the educational community.
